Out of fear of being “disappointed,” we hold back.
We tell ourselves not to get our hopes up.
We fool ourselves into thinking if we keep one foot out the door, somehow disappointment will hurt less.
Big. Fat. Lie.
Disappointment is disappointment.
But, what if numbing ourselves and tamping down our hopes was the exact opposite of what we “should” be doing to ease our pain?
What if in the face of disappointment, the blow was actually softened by knowing we were ALL-IN?
What if you lived your cycle with all of your heart?
You just may be surprised.
I know I was…
I invite you to set this intention: I’m not holding back–I’m ALL IN.
