With the Monday madness behind us, I thought it would be the perfect time to throw a question in your direction that has the power to absolutely transform the way you live the rest of this week...

Are you being the woman you truly want to be on this journey?

Ok, if you want to kick me in the shin after reading that, I would encourage you to read further--I am asking for 2 very good reasons:

  1. I have so much love for you, AND
  2. I wish someone had the guts to ask me that question when I was on my journey.

For years, I let my journey turn me into a woman who was quietly jealous, insecure, powerless, angry, hopeless, pessimistic, ungrateful, bitter, and well, you get the point.

I lost touch with who I really was--and I paid the price. It clouded the decisions I made, the way I treated my relationships, how I treated myself, and how I let others treat me.

Asking this question presumes you have a choice about the woman you can be on this journey.

You do.

When I finally asked myself this question AND kept asking it, I began to empower myself in ways I couldn't have imagined.

That's the beauty of annoyingly powerful questions. They might make us uncomfortable at first, but within them lies freedom.

My work as a coach is to love you enough to ask.

Be that woman.

Lots of love,

Intrigued? Here's an exercise to take this to the next level...

Journal about the woman you choose to be on YOUR journey.

Do it TODAY.

Put pen/pencil to paper without judgment and let your imagination run wild. Magic happens when we take the ideas out of our head and bring them to life on paper.

When you are done, you will have a beautiful sketch of the woman you choose to be while you live this journey. Let that be your guide as you live this week.

Remember, this is about progress, not perfection. There are no right or wrong answers.

Feeling stuck? Think of someone you admire and look to the strengths she possesses. Someone very wise told me that we tend to admire people with qualities we ourselves possess, but fail to see.

Be that woman. She is you!
