As I write this, I am staring out onto the beach in Cannes. French Riviera baby!
I have to admit, I never thought motherhood would include this kinda shit.
Solo Mom trip. Loads of HELL YES.
My old programming would have shot down such notions with a disgustingly sarcastic and negative, "You can't be a good Mom AND travel the world with girlfriends!"
That same shitty programming had me believing I would never be a Mom in the first place!
Because of my age.
Because of my history of "failure."
Because, because, because.
TRUTH: Negativity didn't bring me my boy and it sure as hell didn't land me on the beach in Cannes.
It won't get you where you truly want to go either.
Negativity is a contagion.
Want to know one of its most trusty and combustible fuels?
The people with whom you surround yourself.
There's a cliche that basically says: You are the average of the 5 people with whom you spend the most time.
At first, I blew off that statement as judgy and fucked up, then I took a closer look.
All I can say is WOW.
This isn't an indictment of the people around you.
Nor is this an excuse to cast blame.
It is simply an opportunity to examine the vibe you are allowing and fueling on your journey. (Sycophants and enablers need not apply.)
When I started inviting high vibe people into my life, my results changed.
It's part of the reason why Asher is here today.
Many of the women I am with right now, in Cannes, are Miracle Mamas.
As they say, "birds of a feather..."
Choose your flock wisely.
My ladies don't tolerate low vibe BS.
They know a collective consciousness of BELIEF will kick doubt's ass every time--it's why they are so damn successful. (Can I get an Amen?)
Decide you will be one of them.
Change your mindset, change your results.
Intrigued? Here's an exercise to take this to the next level...
Take an honest look at your flock.
Are they raising you up? Are they keeping you down?
We have the power to choose who we surround ourselves with--is it time for an unapologetic upgrade? AGAIN, this isn't about judgment or casting people aside. It is simply a matter of who you choose to be on this journey and the way you choose to live it. Curate your flock.
Stretch yourself! It's about progress, not perfection.
If you are ready to put a baby in your arms, let's talk. My ladies have babies!
